The story

AiReply started at a kitchen table. Its developer texts the way a lot of people do: short and to the point. His wife did not appreciate the succinct replies. Meanwhile his daughter kept asking for help replying to friends: not with the words themselves, but with what she wanted to convey beyond the words.

So he built an app: paste the message, say who it is from, pick a tone from Sweet to Savage, tap once. He tested it a few times and drifted back to normal texting, until his wife admitted she liked the app's replies better than his, and started joking "can you have the app reply to me, please?" His daughter kept using the suggestions too. That settled it. AiReply shipped on the App Store on July 15, 2026.

Since launch it has grown out of its own text box. Version 1.5 added the three places people actually text from, and 1.6 rebuilt the keyboard into something worth using on the days you do not need an AI reply at all.

What makes it different

A keyboard worth switching to. Not a gimmick bolted onto a text box: a full iOS keyboard with word suggestions, next-word prediction, one-tap typo fixing, a hold-space trackpad cursor, an emoji keyboard that learns your favorites, and autocorrect you can undo with a single backspace. It predicts the next key at the instant of the touch, so fast typing lands the letters you meant. The AI reply stays one tap away the whole time.

It works everywhere you text. Three surfaces, not one app you have to visit: the keyboard types the reply into any app; the iMessage drawer app drops it straight into your message box without leaving the conversation; and the share sheet takes any selected message and hands the reply back copied, before you are back in the chat.

Any language, instantly. AiReply reads the message you received and replies in that language: Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, 30+ in all, with zero setup. Multilingual families, immigrants texting across generations, and cross-border couples get a tool that finally speaks both of their languages.

It stays you. Replies are written by Grok from xAI and come back with natural contractions and real texting rhythm, no "As an AI" energy. Ten tones from Sweet to Savage cover the crush, the spouse, the ex, the boss, and the group chat.

Humane by design. No account. No sign-up. No server-side message storage; history lives on-device. Ten free replies every week, renewed weekly. It is not a trial trick.
